Smarty=Carry on and chugging

When I down load the smarty to my truck it starts to carry on and chug? Any ideas as to why? Right now I have the beta 4. 4 and it seems to run good when I have my foot into the pedal, but when I let off it wants to keep going. And I mean keep going, with my foot off the pedal, it did it for over a mile saturday with a diesel mechanic with me. He was watching the rail pressures on his Chrysler scan tool, and the pressure stayed at what the truck was calling for.



Took smarty out and doesn't seem to be doing it?

It's not only the Smarty that will do this. I have had a Quad. Race box and a Bully Dog down loader on my truck. They also would do the same on high settings. Try loading up some of the lower settings like Wild #1 or Moderate #3.

Some of the older software had the "hanging throttle" syndrome, I am running the Latest downloads now, wild tm, and all of that has disappeared.
