Ok.

So I hear the new smarty is suppose to have some perty cool timing capabilities. And that your supposed to even turn of the TST timing in favor of the smarty. Just use the HP settings on the TST to get a bit more then the smarty has to offer over 170hp.

However how is this supposed to work with a boost fooler and/or boost above 40psi if timing is a calculation of RPM and Boost? If there is boost fooling or over 40psi happening?

Is is basically coming down to "once over 40psi, your just going to get the max of 18 and that's it? Or is it just a matter of knowing what your truck will do an what it needs once there?

Cuz I would assume a lot of guys running 60PSI are not running enough timing at that boost level...

Correct? or am I waaaay off base here?

I could be wrong, but I suspect that at the higher boost levels and more particularly at the higher fueling levels that you would run less timing advance than you would at lower boost and fueling levels. Otherwise the cylinder pressure would go way over the safe limits for the pistons...
