Smarty for '07??

Anyone know if their will be a smarty for the 2007 5. 9l available soon or if it already is. I am looking to make more power and better economy. Not at the same time of course as more power takes more fuel.



If anyone else has suggestions to help, I will be towing some up to about 26,000 lbs probalby once or twice a week but most of the time will be spent empty. I want reliablility and am not looking to make crazy horsepower. I was thinking around 100-125 hp more than stock.



All who want please chime in and give me your $. 02 cents worth.

Adding 100-125hp is going to require auto transmission upgrades or clutch upgrades on the manuals. i've got an '07 on order and will be happy if the G-56 holds 30rwhp+timing. I will be carrying an 1800#camper and running larger tires.

I've got an '07 on order and will be happy if the G-56 holds 30rwhp+timing. I will be carrying an 1800#camper and running larger tires.

In stock form my G56 is holding the 130hp setting. With that being said, I don't stab the throttle, more/less roll into it, and I don't tow on that setting. Anything below the 90hp setting the fun factor goes way down. I did slip the clutch on the 170hp setting but that was expected... now I know what a slipping clutch feels like. :-laf As soon as the fun factor goes away on the 130 setting, it'll be time for a clutch and then load #9.
