Smarty Jr and One Piece Drive Shaft best money spent

The two best things I have bought within the last six months are my Smarty Jr and the aluminum one piece drive shaft. The Smarty is easy to use and really helps with the power. The one piece drive shaft took away any vibration I had and it rides like a new truck.

Guages are next. . then look at dropping another $5-7k on a reliable transmission.

It would be very hard to give up the Smarty and I can now see what is behind me in the rear view mirror at 70mph with the one piece driveline.

I bought mine from Dodge for an 06 mega cab G56 transmission 4WD and had it shortened 1. 5" and rebalanced.

I suspect so. The aluminum tube is much bigger in diameter than the steel and the joints are bigger too.

I think the reasoning for not using alum is in part cost as well as being something new that existing engineering staff wasn't accustomed to.
