Smarty Jr update 2/11/10?

Does anyone know what the new update consists of? I just checked the software update, and one just got posted on the 11th.

Not sure what they would change? I just put on the 5. 10 software before christmas. Someone needs to get her downloaded and give it a try.

It upsets me when programmers won't list what the upgrades are with the latest version I see this with other software too.

I would guess its another update to the base OS that Dodge has released. This is pretty normal for Smarty to do, about twice a year, to keep the software synched to where it will load correctly.



The downside is you don't know what other effects, adverse or not, it will have on the truck. Kinda like getting a flash from the dealer to fix one problem and it changes something else.



Hence, I have not updated my Smarty software for over 2 years. Don't want to screw up a good thing. :-laf

The last couple of updates have been because of Dodge. Otherwise, Dodge owner goes to dealer for whatever reason. Dealer flashes computer. Smarty no longer works. I'm thankful for continued Smarty support.

Good I always felt I couldn't advance my timing enough. Will download it have to remember all the steps

Did the update this AM. Running Great. Hard to tell any difference as I have had it set to stock the last 2 weeks breaking in my new clutch so now it feels Awesome!!!!

Its named the exact same file name as the 2/11/10 update... that doesn't seem right... I know because I downloaded both files...



How do you enable high idle on an '03 CR??

It's been around-4 for the high as of late, and very few cold snaps. Also hardly any snow. It's been a great winter so far for cunstruction.

As far as Tnt on the 03 I havnt had any problems running it. No "rail pop" as some others have had. My fuel mileage has been suffering to say the least. I switched to sw8 and gained alot back. I don't know if to much timing is hurting mpg's with the winter blend fuel and the cold.

That would be great if we coiled have high idle on the early trucks. I would like to try it but I hate to go back and forth from TNT to revo to TNT again lol

How do you enable high idle on an '03 CR??

Replace the ECU with one that is capable of implementing the idle up feature,



or get a BullyDog and use the PTO option.
