Smarty Jr upgrade DTC

New software that improves DTC. What is that?

IIRC, DTC is Diagnostic Trouble Code. Probably an update to put descriptions and maybe missing ones into the Smarty tool.

Might be a stupid question. I know you don't have to go back to stock when changing from one performance level to another, but before you update the Jr from the web, do you have to put the truck back to stock before? I don't know if the Jr remembers your truck when you update it. I just don't want to get locked out.

I don't *think* you have to go back to stock, but, thats just good practice when you do any update.



It is electronics and there is always the potential for glitches. One small mismatch and your stuck.
