Smarty ME and dpf delete

With Smarty ME and DPF delete do you need to connect your wiring to new exhaust bungs on straight pipe?

Are you asking about the two probes that are part of the DPF? If so do not remove them from the DPF just un-hook the hoses from the differential pressure switch that is mounted on the transmission. Leave the ports on the differential pressure switch open to atmosphere. The differential pressure switch stays connected to the main wiring harness. The Smarty ME programme uses this device.

Did you down load the instructions from the smarty site when you updated the Smarty computer? This will help with the install and provides information on what is connected and what is not.

I have not downloaded the ME yet. I have a supplier that sells the delete pipe with or without bungs. I was wondering which pipe to get.



I don't see an instalation file on the downloads page.

You do not need the BUNGS for the down pipe. I am using a 5. 9L engine 5" exhaust from MBRP om my truck.

The instructions are in the download S67PV618Ap23ME. 7Z. Click on that, then when it opens click on the I agree with statement. Then the instructions will open up on how to install the Smarty and what needs to be changed. At the bottom of these instructions you will need to click on the Down load to get the program.
