Smarty Question

OK I am in the market for a smarty. But I have a few questions. One how does it have 100 levels? Two, how does the on the demand work? How many different smartys are there for the 04. 5 truck? Lastly, is everything on the smarty when you order it or do you have to down load stuff when you get it?

never heard of 100 levels, there are 10 levels, but you can get extra special and do some custom tunning with the revo/tnt programming. Smartys are really nice, they are the programmer to get for the 3rd gens, and they pay for themselves with the code reader.



There is a smarty Jr. also that is comparable to levels 1,3,5 of the regular smarty. Don't know about the on demand, but I heard they were comming up with the adjust on the fly instead of having to download the program while the truck sits.



When you order it, you might have to download the latest version depending on when it was made, or you can download the revo/tnt programming, just look around their website and it will get you all the info.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I do not believe they have 100 levels. Perhaps 10, but not 100. Marco wouldn't be able to sleep for 5 years if he had to write code for 100 levels.

I'm not sure about the on demand part, but I would imagine it is much like the Edge, TST, or Banks in cab controller.

I believe the programming is there when you get it, however, Marco does make refinements in the programming occasionally that can be downloaded from the internet and used on your truck.

I'm no expert adn my memory isn't what it used to be but I believe I am 90%+ correct.

Huge increase compared the same power level at 100% or to stock or to what? Would the economy increase be similar to having the power at 100% and simply keeping your foot out of it? If not could you explain how the engine becomes more efficient to produce this potentially huge increase in mpg?



Does the reducing the power level with the POD reduce the smoke as well?

Junior PoD has yet to hit the beta stages.

I have a mostly stock 06 6spd and liked the Revo program but didint like the excess smoke. Some friends convinced me to try the TNT, i was hesetant because of all the warnings when you download it. I have only tried sw1 but i could not believe how little smoke there is, i actually had to plug the smarty back in and make shure the program was loaded, i only get smoke under a WOT acceleration.
