I have looked through the forum and have found out a lot about my S06. . I just bought the truck this weekend, and I was just curious from people that have ran it and been through it longer then i have. . My truck is in the sig, also have a stock clutch. . I was just wondering about settings. . What should i set it on if i want to go out and really run, without dropping my clutch out the bottom, and i understand its overpowered for the stock clutch and it wont be good for it, i dont need coaching on that. . Just a good solid setting if i want to broil the tires off. . And also a good setting for everyday driving to work and back, for fuel mileage. . Thanks in advance,

Shawn

Level 3 or 5 works for me. I have over-sized tires and can slip the clutch in 5th or 6th gear if i stomp on it. Level 3 has (for me) about a 2 MPG better mileage than 5. You can also adjust the torque management. This makes a huge difference on throttle response in a stick. I use Moderate (middle setting) in the winter and Mild (up one level) in the spring/summer/fall. Problem is once you go from level 3 to 5, its hard to go back. Especially with somewhat lower fuel prices these days, i'm willing to sacrifice some mileage for fun :)

What Smarty software is loaded into your S-06? There is a big difference in sw#3 between the standard Revo vs Revo TNT, not to mention all the other Smarty softwares floating around.

If you have the standard Revo, I would refrain from exceeding sw#3, if you want your clutch to live. That would also be helpful in mpg gain, maybe... .

I was able to achieve my best mileage on sw#9 with the 411 software, but mods and the tuning of those mods can make a huge difference.

The standard revo is loaded in. . the guy i bought the truck from had it on 8 with the timing set on 3, rp on 2, and torque on 3... which i really really really like. . but he got away with it because his foot wasnt nearly as heavy as mine... so i guess ill walk out there with my head down and kick it down to 3... thanks a lot guys cant afford another clutch right now. .

Level 3 should work good for you, I could slip my clutch on level one. The problem i'm having with the PoD is I have a dead spot at the beginning of the throttle. I haven't been able to get the throttle response I had before the upgrade.
