Smarty s-06 pod Question

I recently bought the Smarty s-06 pod and installed it on my 04.5. I am running the Edge Juice w/ attitude on the stock setting for guages only. My question is , if I am idleing setting still and blip the throttle it will roal the black smoke (which I do not want). If I get on it to hard taking off ,it will black out an intersection. If I unplug the juice box under the hood and try do it again no smoke. Why?? On the smarty all I am running is sw5- it2- tq1- rp1-wg0. Any help would be appreciated
