getting rid of the juice but want the attitude (that sounds almost snotty). gonna run the smarty with new (stock) injectors in my 03. Can I just put the edge on 0-stock and load the smarty ? or should I disconnect the edge from the injector connections ? I am the only driver so I am not to worried about stacking by accident. But also dont want to take any chances if that is not recommended.

Still hoping for some feed back on this. Also if any one has thoughts on a good starting point to set the smarty that would also be appreciated. My truck is 03,6 speed,4:10 gear, stock turbo, high flow intake&exhaust. Pulling a 18k 5th wheel every few days.

Which Smarty, JR or SR?

If SR(w/standard revo software), I would not exceed SW3 if towing, you may slip your stock clutch even then.

Excuse my ignorance on the Edge Juice, is it a fuel box(like tst) ? Or is it a downloader(like bullydog)? If it's a fuel box, I see no problem leaving it on zero and just utilizing it for the attitude monitor. If it's a downloader, I would not mix programmers, likely to contaminate your ECM.

The Smarty is a downloader, it reprograms your ecm. I stack my TST(fuel box) on top of the Smarty in very small increments and only on the top end(power only on tst). I also stack my EZ for pressure, I am not fond of Smarty's pressure feature, seems irratic on my truck.

Whenever you utilize more than one performance box/programmer at a time, you run the risk of too much timing, so proceed with moderation and monitor the different settings.

Hope that helps a bit, Jess

Yes, you can do that with no problems.

You can actually use the EJ\A with the Smarty if so desired. Just remember the EJ uses a lot of timing to accomplish its ends so set the Smarty to stock timing.

Just be careful when combining the 2 as the timing on th EJ combine dwith the heavy fueling of the Smarty can have detrimental results. ;)

It is a smarty SR. And the edge is a not a down load it is on the dash adjustable. I am just worried that leaving the connections in place may still interfere with the smarty. I certainly do not want to stack these two ! Heard horror stories about edge juice being stacked with others.

With needing a new set of injectors with under 100,000 miles I dont want to take any more chances $$$$.
