Guys, I don't normally do this but, Bob Wagner is to blame. I talked with Bob on Friday and Monday a little box arrived. I just plugged this thing in and now I understand what a "Smarty Smile" is!

It's my first real BOMB and I had to tell you guys about it. It's a nice piece of gear and a dream to operate. Now I can "roll some coal".

There was a little something extra in the package... Bob, how did you know I liked those kind of Candy Bars?

Yep... . I gotta Candy Bar too:-laf

Thanks Bob... . tell Marco Thank You for me.

William

Alright! Congrats on the new Smarty!

Yeah, Bob does try to take care of his customers thats for sure. .

Love mine to,its on #3 right now cause i was hauling the 11K fiver on the weekend, got to change it back to #9-----Some moderate hills but mostly flat---pre temps loaded were 980/post 700,Boost 8-10LBS. Managed to get 12. 8mpg,average,hand calculated. ----Hope you have the right gauges before you stay into it for a while. :-laf:-laf:-laf. /behave yourself/enjoy.

Thanks Phil, and DWeiler you are so right... I don't have EGT or Boost gages yet but, I was on the phone with Jeff Danker at Hewitt Instruments just an hour ago. I have them on the way and no, I have not stood on this yet because of the lack of telemetry. I've done a few very short rolling bursts and it placed that "slap-happy" smile on my mug right away.

Damn... . my wife figured out something was up the minuet I rolled back into the driveway... . I couldn't wipe that stupid grin off my face and she picked up on it right away. :D

I think all or most wives have seen that grin once or twice with the "SMARTY":-laf:-laf:-laf

My Smarty tows just fine on #9. I turn of my Edge Comp and set the Smarty on #8 for fun. When you stack the Smarty with a Comp (setting 5 on sub level 5) or TST the smoke can be extreme (too much) if you floor it from a stop light. The smoke can be fun at first but too much smoke gets old quickly. I've had people call the number on my truck and even call the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to complain. I keeping the TCEQ complaint letter that I received as a trophy.
