Bob,

I read much of these 54 pages but am not entirely sure on one thing.

Will Smarty upgrade my odometer display in my 99 to show engine codes, something the newer 2nd gens can do ( I believe) ?

I just checked mine and still no odometer code display with the smarty, the smarty itself will pull all the codes and its usually in the truck anyway.

No the smarty will display(on the smarty on screen display) with description of code. But it will not fix dodge's display program.

Marco's product is awesome

Smarty security

I've been wanting to get one of these Steel Security Drawers for a long time.

Keeping that expensive programmer in my truck finally justified it.

Bought from Genos, of course. Mounted it under the passenger side since my 3D Maglight is mounted to the front of my seat.

Note, 2nd gen Quad cabs without power seats - only, need apply.

Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with the Smarty and using it to spool a set of twins quicker. I'm running a 40/HT3B set at 5000' plus elevation. I would love them so spool a little sooner. Currently using Mach 5. 5 sticks and a comp. But always looking for a little more :)

It should help them spool really well, but overfueling can also become an issue with how big your sticks are. You probably end up having to adjust the sub-level on your COMP to soften up the aggressive fueling under low boost.

Been busy lately, but tonight not so much, decided to change out my old Catcher ECM and put the stock one back in and try the Smarty, did that,40 minutes messing around and adjusted tire height and installed Sw-#7 for now. Took it out for a run,With my current mods-see sig,i ran up to 90mph to the floor on all shifts, pulled not bad, little puff of smoke on take off and a bit of a light haze rowing through the gears, hottest the pre pryo reached was 1100 peddle pinned,35lbs of boost-guage only goes to #35lbs,barked my b1-2 once(have to adjust the blow off valve a little more but on the rest of the shift i could hear it engaging---psst-psst. So far i'm very happy with Smarty, most likely run on SW#7 for most of my driving and move to #9 when feeling young again. Mach 4 from Bob also came with the Smarty, but no time to install yet,i think that on a even lower software setting with the 4's i hope to do ok and not pin the pre pyro. With my old program,i could smoke with the best of them,so for now i hope to run at around 400+---Smarty#9,Mach4's and the B1-2---should be close, thanks again Bob/Marco :D :D :D

Mileage update for everyone :) I did a 640 mile run today from Sherwood, up to Wenatchee, Washington and back. Smarty # 8 loaded up with the Edge-Comp on 1x1 and speed set to 60 mph. 20. 24 mpg was my average. :D

Loads of power when needed Oo. Oo. :D

DWeiler - "have to adjust the blow off valve a little more but on the rest of the shift i could hear it engaging---psst-psst" do you have a BD blowoff valve? If so could you pm me, I am thinking I may go the blowoff valve route.
