Smarty arrived last week. Wow, what a difference. Don't know why I waited so long. Thanks Marco & Rip.
Anyways, I've a question about the tire size adjustment built into Smarty. A few years ago I had my stock ECM updated for my slightly oversize tires (285/70/17). This was done by entering the # tire revs per mile (i. e not the tire diameter like Smarty). I tried to check the tire setting with Smarty but there was no way to get into the ABS settings without applying one of the Smarty softwares. No biggie. I started with #9 right off the bat.
I can now get into the ABS settings and Smarty tells me the curr. tire size is set to 0. 00" and I've not tried to change it with Smarty yet. So, is my tire/speedo still set to what I had with my stock software, or might I be back at some sort of default tire/speedo setting? I think I'll leave the old speedo calibration if it is still in there because it seemed pretty accurate.
If anyone is pondering a Smarty, let me tell you it will leave one of these
on your face!
