Smarty arrived last week. Wow, what a difference. Don't know why I waited so long. Thanks Marco & Rip.

Anyways, I've a question about the tire size adjustment built into Smarty. A few years ago I had my stock ECM updated for my slightly oversize tires (285/70/17). This was done by entering the # tire revs per mile (i. e not the tire diameter like Smarty). I tried to check the tire setting with Smarty but there was no way to get into the ABS settings without applying one of the Smarty softwares. No biggie. I started with #9 right off the bat. :D :D :D

I can now get into the ABS settings and Smarty tells me the curr. tire size is set to 0. 00" and I've not tried to change it with Smarty yet. So, is my tire/speedo still set to what I had with my stock software, or might I be back at some sort of default tire/speedo setting? I think I'll leave the old speedo calibration if it is still in there because it seemed pretty accurate.

If anyone is pondering a Smarty, let me tell you it will leave one of these :D on your face!

You ran into the same thing I did with the Smarty after upgrading to the 285's - my reported original tire size was also 00. 00. Marco sez that is just the default size originally loaded into the ECM, and go ahead and enter the measured diameter of the new size. It also appears we must re-enter that new size any time we return to stock Smarty programming, since the Smarty then reverts to the original default size - no biggie.

I ended up using 33 inches on my TOYO 285's.

Thanks Gary. I guess I will be entering the tire size today. On the way home yesterday I started to thinking it seemed off a bit.
