Is the top speed limiter removed or not with a Smarty?

We have had reports both ways. some yes and some say no its still there.



Maybe its being confused with the rev limiter. I could always send you my demo box.

Have not gone much above 100 MPH, but I am pretty certain that it fuels hard all way to that speed.

Mine ran all the way to 105 and stopped there. The speed was verified by my GPS. :-laf

I MIGHT have seen 118 mph, truck still fueling, rpm at 3200 with Smarty on #9. Had to let off as ran out of road...

Did yours run to 105 with the smarty installed. I can get to about 115 with no Smarty and that's not good enough.

Nope, bone stock. 3. 73 rear ratio, 265 70 17 tires, 6-speed HO. It was about to peak out right around 3200 rpms. This was in South Park, Colo, which is a high mountain valley around 9,000 feet elevation. Don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. I'll have 245 tires and 19. 5" wheels on it in a couple of weeks. That might change the top end too.
