I have the Smarty S06.

I've downloaded the software for "aftermarket injectors-stock turbo" for stock torque management and mild torque management.

Does anyone know what the difference is in the torque management schemes?

I plan on using level 1 (30hp + mpg improvement)...

Thanks,

Louis

It controls how much de-fueling is done when the transmission shifts. Mild TQ management will feel more solid when the transmission shifts compared to stock but it is a little harder on a stock transmission.

You would probably be alright running the stock injector SW also. You'll get more timing out of it, which might give you slightly better mpg gains. The mild TQM is what comes on it, and will work just fine for you.

I have tested mileage on the smarty in #1, #5, and #9. There was no difference between 1 and 5 (approximately 0. 2 mpg difference), but did lose a little in 9. The only challenge is keeping your foot out of it on the bigger SW's:-laf

I emailed Marco at Madselectronics and he wrote back that the torque management levels increase the power at the lower RPMs for increased power and seat of the pants driving.

I swear I read somewhere that you should not tow at level 1, but can't find that info anywhere and I forgot to ask Marco.

Does anyone know if its ok to tow at level 1?

Thanks,

Louis

TQ Mgmt reduction provides more fuel sooner at lower rpm giving better performance, throttle response,... . i think the timing is very agressive on level 1 so i'd stick to level 3.
