I'm sure this is covered somewhere, but can't find any info as to the amount of torque per sw version. ei 30, 60, 90... Just curious as i'm looking to stack with my EDGE before i upgrade to an '07 5. 9. Thanks

I don't see any more info in your signature. Is your truck otherwise stock? Or do you have any other mods?

Nice numbers. I had 346/680 on my '05 with edge juice at level 5 and just an AFE and Magnaflow. A little disappointed in my numbers. You are where I was hoping to be. Is your transmission still stock?

Smarty and my set up

I had DTT do my trany last September and a FASS 150/95 about the same time. I have been using a Quad Race about a year but it was turned off for the dyno run. Intake is stock and I have 41" Nelson, no cat. I just got the Smarty 8-10-06. The trany is my best mod then the Smarty.

I rolled 450hp/875tq on setting #8 at Diesel Thunder in Spokane, was very disappointed. When I added TST my numbers went down. I did not have my programmer with me  so I could not change to a lower/higher setting. Truck ran like crap all the way home, cutting out, no fuel?. .

This morning I hooked up Smarty and went back to stock settings, ran fine, although not the power I'm used to. I started adding TST, got up to 7/6 before I started loosing power, but truck did not cut out, ran like a thief.

After talking to BIG BOB / Jason B. , I removed the bolt from my banjo fitting on top of my rail pressure relief valve, started the truck and spewed fuel all over the place. I guess I found my weakness.

So to sum this up, I guess my #s are not too bad considering a blown relief valve.

Why I was cutting out with the Smarty and not the TST, I am not sure, asking for more fuel than the injectors were provided? Once I repair my valve I will try Smarty again.

This was my dyno run. I wasn't sure I was building much boost until Cammo played it back for me. First run was 557hp, but failed to register torque. Second run was 541hp with 990tq. Previous best was 519hp/1089tq at DynoMite Diesel.

At the track that night I scared myself pretty bad trying to do a 4wd launch in 3rd. Slipped the clutch really bad. My next few runs were ok, most in mid 15's but top speed right around 100mph. Best run of the night though was 14. 85/101mph. Not bad for a 6 speed, 4wd #7800 truck.

The next day I drove it home with the camper on. Loaded it weighs around #12500. Ran the Smarty on level 3. Long steep hill on I-90 after crossing the Columbia River (Vantage), running 75mph, outside temp 96*, boost around 20, EGTs never got over 1050*!!!

Smarty is nice, but have to learn how to drive it. Very touchy right off idle, especially in levels 7, really touchy in 9. Driving now in 5. Have provided Bob some feedback that hopefully Marco can program into it. Nice to be able to download the updates off the internet.
