Competition Smarty @ Track - 12s ET Videos & Slips

Well thanks to TJ AKA MrDestinE on DTW (Great Guy even if he drives a Hemi powered truck) and his son, I have a couple of videos of 12s runs September 3 at Houston Raceway Park. Not the best videos, but I had to massage them through 3 different editing and conversion programs. I have not done any video editing in a couple of years and it shows. Probably not the best place to tape my runs from either. The Smarty got me into the 12s for the first time .



The time slip is under each run video. Stack TST w/twins 2/0, EZ 3, Smarty SW 8.

Have you had your pump modified? I ran my dually again yesterday, with a best time of 13. 47 at 101 with a 2. 0 60'. . After I leave the line, I have no smoke at all. . Just wondering if you had a large drop after having yours modified. .

My engine is basically stock. FASS, AFE Air Intake, High Flow Muffler, II SPS66 and of course Triple Disc TC, full billet built trans and Sun Coast Laminated Flex plate. The rest is boxes and downloader(Smarty). Not sure how many of those runs it has in it without modded cp3, cam, springs and studs.

It's good to see some actual numbers for the Smarty . I tried one on my truck last week and it felt awful strong but it is hard to tell until you go to the track. I ran an 11. 96 @ 114 Last saturday at Quick Diesel qualifing in Atlanta but that was with spray and my Crazy Larry program. I think I am going to have to find a program with more fuelling if I want to go faster maybe the Smarty is it.
