I have been searching in the forum to find posts about smarty trucks that pull harder at part throttle than at WOT. I find a lot of threads, but no definitive solutions or answers. Anyone?

My truck definately pulls harder at somwhere between half and 3/4 throttle. I already know for sure it is not fuel starvation (never below 11psi) or APPS.

Usually I runSW4 and Juce on 5.

Thanks

some of the new calibrations for it will help but mine always did it, I could never find the right throttle position and I got sick of it and sold it.

I don't find a difference between 1/2 and full throttle. They both pull the same on my rig. With the box on it is a bit tough to drive as the throttle is more like a switch but that is the nature of the beast! Lower SW's resolve the throttle position problem but for that crazy response, the lower levels don't spool as fast as the higher ones. I have had my rig on SW9 for the past few months and I've gotten used to it for local driving. Whenever I'm heading for the highway I put it on SW 1 for empty driving and SW3 for towing.
