I guess it's time for a heater core. Carpet is not wet yet, but the smell of antifreeze is quite strong when running the heat. My truck is 11 years old, so I guess I'm do. My question is, should I spend the extra money for an OEM heater core and evaporator coil? They are quite a bit higher than aftermarket. I'm going to replace the evaporator coil and blend door motors while I have everything apart. It's too big of a job to not replace them as well. Are there any quality aftermarket pieces? Or should I just suck it up and pay for OEM?

I can't speak for you, but I went with OEM when I changed my heater core and evaporator. I also can't imagine you would ever need to change the blend door actuators, just the doors themselves.
