2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Smoke in neutral?

How do you guys get the turbo to spool and do all your smoke shows in a manual transmission truck without a load on the engine? Or am I missing something?

That's a good question, I have often wondered too. I use the right big toe on the brake, heel on the go petal, take it up to 1800 or 2000 rpm and with left foot, abuse the clutch. I would certainly entertain a less brutal approach to a smoke show.
