Hey I Have a 2002 6spd and it has the Edge Comp and the truck smokes like crazy then you give it gas. is this normal? I have heard that it is not a good the for a cummins to be smoking a lot. The truck has over 280,000 km on it and well it uses a ton of fuel the average is around 21L/100km with out a trailer and with the trailer it will use around 30-34l/100km. What do you all think could be going on with this thing. It also has new pumps. Thanks Keith :)

Hold the power button in on on your comp for a few seconds, when you release it the bars will be flashing. Adjust the bars down, 1 bar will be minimal smoke, 5 will be maximum. Turn the comp off, and turn back on. Try that and see what you think.

Side note. Each power level setting can have a different sublevel (flashing bars), so you have to adjust the sublevel for each power level seperately.
