How much smoke is acceptable to still have a healthy engine? My 95 has barely any with 90k, drove a 93 and it had a bit more.

How many miles?

Its probably easier to come out of the filler than going through the breather if the fill cap is off.

The oil fill tube goes straight into the oil pan, you shouldn't see smoke unless your oil is very, very hot or you have excessive moisture in your oil due to short trips that don't heat the oil enough to burn it all off.

I think a little smoke (bypass) is OK. If people start to look at you at a stoplight(it would be going out the breather tube down the side of the engine), I'd begin to worry.

Bottom line, if it runs good, and dont burn too much oil, dont worry 'bout it. :D
