Smoked a D-MAX

Got into a little race with a D-MAX in San Antonio the other day.

It was an easy win! Most anything from a 45 punch in my truck gets beat up to 85. It was funny the way the guy was all pissy after I won.

He ended up exiting at the next exit after his little spanking and his girlfriend or whatever was mad at him for loosing.

He was a CC dauly with an empty bed. I was loaded down with tools and such and still beat him.

The new chevy's are very light too compared to the Ram's.

I will admit that from a dead stop he might have been a little closer but, still would have lost.

I drove a 2001 2500HD extra-cab 4x4, LOADED, D-Max/Allison... . it was really comfy and I liked the interior layout... . but it didn't impress me all that much. The owner said that he could 'burn-out' with it... . I didn't boost launch it, but if I just punched it from a standstill it didn't do much of anything. I've heard that if you boost-launch 'em they will smoke the tires pretty nice. That's a good feature to have... .
