Smoked by a V10 ! What's 1st???

Ok,I've got a whopping 370 miles on new truck,and I got SMOKED by a V10 QC tonight !! :{



How long for the "new" boxes,or will it be safe to piggy back them?

I doubt there'll be much of a market for the current style boxes as a used part when the new boxes come out.



If Dodge won't sell me an HO,I'll build one or better

I like the Edge products, but for raw HP the best one to go with right now is probably the PDQ volumizer. They advertise 50 and 100 HP gains(switchable stock, 50 and 100), but dyno testing on vehicles have shown as much as 140-150 HP improvements. The downside is that on some trucks they have been setting off check engine lights.

The easiest way to get hp is injectors and big ones! But there is a down side(high egts). I believe that an 03 performance injector will work. A chip is a good idea also and really don't have to worry about the high egts. You might want to check out bullydogs website, i have there chip and 120 horse injectors and i think they are great.

Call Diesel Dynamics! Their configurator shows up to 390 RWHP for your truck in '03 trim. That's injectors, box, and turbo--nothing but a little time and money. Should take care of the V-10.

Next time this happens just let him win, and think to yourself "when this gasser is in the junk yard being scrapped because it died from high miles, my Cummins will only be halfway through its engine life. "

Don't forget that with only 370 miles on a new truck, that engine is still tight. I have 8600 on mine and I can keep up with (not beat)the new hemi... not to mention getting 5 mpg more than they do!
