Competition All-truck drags at Mission, BC

Off Roading what will fit?

I was at a redlight this morning going to work. Running late. :rolleyes

A Lexus (think it was an ES 300?) pulls up next to me, palying the part. Inching up, revving the engine... you know.

Light turns green and I started out, I didnt really smash it, just took off a bit more than normal.

First was his  then :--) expression.

He really had to step on it to pass me.

At the next light he rolled down his window, I said "not bad for a hillbilly truck pushing 200K miles!" (I was in the 1st gen)

He said "What's in it?"

Me, "A bone stock 6 cylinder, 5 speed".

Again the :--) look.

Light goes green, and he waves me up front.

I had to write this, I know to you that race daily this aint much, but I didnt even know we were racing. :D

This morning a GM owner in my neighborhood was heading out the same time I was. We managed to get it on a couple of times but the traffic got in the way at the stoplights. We were side by side running about 45 and we hit it from the go and by the time I was at 70 he was about 10 truck lengths back! :D

He owns a 2001 Chevy 3500 4x4 crew cab with the 496 gasser and Allison transmission. :p

So I see a PSD the other day on a four-lane in the city. I get up beside him so he can see the 5-incher. And that silly boy goosed the throttle:eek:. I was SOOOOOOOO ready to race, but traffic down there is STUPID, especially on that road, and was going to get worse--so I let him slide. :p Let me find him on a lonely road:D.

That's the second PSD that has actually acted like he wanted to run me. Yes, I blew the other ones doors off.

Had a DingoMax riding up close a while back, but when I hammered it he/she (driving like a girl) wouldn't even try to keep up. I was pulling a 5x10 enclosed trailer and the DM was a dually, so I thought it'd be fair race. Pulled away fast twice with no chase. Darnit, DM's are rare in my neck of the woods.

So I mostly have to settle for gasser trucks and ricers. Defeated once by a 8-cylinder german sedan--would like to try him again in about a month now that I have a clutch and am ordering DD3's this week. :D :D :D
