Rankin Road is a place in Houston that has big time ($$$$) street racing almost every weekend. It's been awhile since I went out there but I understand it can get quite hairy!!!

We used to hang out on Sheldon Rd on the east side. You would see some serious race machines out there. That was before the Houston dragstrip was built. Not sure if it's still a hot spot.

I have been out to Rankin a few times in my '98 Camaro SS. There are alot of pretty quick cars there, people lose money all the time to the unexpectedly quick. I know, because my 12. 68@112. 7mph Camaro is not all that fast compared to some of those cars!
