Smooth as slik now!

Well I finally got around to getting TSB 19-008-03 done. I never thought it was really needed then one day while pushing 75mph and better I noticed a buzz sound from behind the dash, kind of like a fly stuck in a spiders web so thought I would give this TSB a try.



The buzz is gone but to my surprise was an added bonus. Ever since buying the truck I have had a slight vibration in the steering wheel, not real bad to say anything about- in fact I thought it was just the big CTD coming from a gasser. With the new hose I now have a smooth vibration free steering wheel, kinda cush now with the leather wrap.



Here is a pic so everyone knows where the big weight is at on the updated hose.

That is exactly what mine is doing, never thought much of it. Guess I better take it in and get it done, got a trip to wyoming coming up and that little vibration gets to you after awhile!

I never really noticed it earlier, but I did a long hwy stretch this weekend and really started noticing it!

They will do some vibration in neutral at the same rpm also.

so that's what that lump on the PS hose is... i have one on my truck and i never really was sure what it was there for

It is there to dampen the vibrations from the power steering.
