Neat Trencher and Air Hydraulic 20 ton jack

Wife bought one of these in December 2005. Did alot of looking trying to get a quality machine. Medium priced ($1400) good reviews. Broke 12 minutes into first use. Service is a nightmare. 3 months to get tech out to look at it. No Idea what's wrong. Said they would replace 1 piece at a time untill working, but might take a while. Has now been another month. Won't return calls, no parts have shown up. I tried to write a poor review of their service and warranty work online at a fitness site. It won't accept a review less than "good". I would like to get some information out there about this problem. No name calling, just a warning about their lack of infrastructure and support. I have seen sites called" I hate "insert name". How much would it cost to start a site like this. Because they sell mostly online I feel something like this may catch their eye. I'd like to get this fixed without going to an attorney. They are in NJ and I'm in CA.

Are they a member of the BBB? If so, logdge a complaint with them - they post the complaints online. Also check with the NJ Dept of Consumer Affairs. Both these organizations will get the company's attention.

They may not care on a truck site, but I would copy their customer service with this link as well as all letters you write to fitness mags, BBB, etc. Almost all of the fitness magazines have a letters section. Send the company a letter that you will be sending to all magazines and consumer review websites (there are a ton) if they don't take care of you. If they don't help you SEND THE LETTERS! It will make you feel better and possible help someone else. Past this you can take them to small claims court. I am not sure if you would have to go to their state, or if they would have to fly someone out to CA.

Wife and I are in the market for a new treadmill. Definitely won't be looking at one from this company unless I hear they take care of you quickly.

good luck,

with this kind of stuff I always trust my local fitness center. These guys here sell TONS of this equipment use it themselves, and endorse only what they like and their customers like. I paid about 2200 for our nautilus elliptical and it's been one fine machine. I know I shelled out a little more than I could of elsewhere, but you pay for more than just the equipment IMO. Their service, knowledge, and experience is worth the extra coin.

Post this company's info, no one likes to get hosed, sorry.

Go to this website

Epinions.com They will let you post a negative report on the equipment. You have to sign up and give them an email address that works. After you submit your epinion they send an email to the address you gave them with a link inside that allows you to confirm and publish the Epinion.
