Archived Snap..! Not Good

Just got out of stop and go traffic,get one block from the house(lucky)and the "upgraded" master cylinder from southbend clutch on my dd breaks!

the pedal goes to the floor and no clutch. After investigating,the piece of crap plastic retaining clip broke that keeps it from going through the firewall and pushed the master into the engine compartment #@$%!. I really dont like that feeling and would have been alot worse a couple of minutes prior. . Okay enough venting. Anyone know where to get a metal slave kit that will work for my application?

Are you certain it was twisted and completely locked in place? Also, when you changed it, did you install the proper shimming washer (piece of rubber)?

There are other locations you can get these units, but give Peter a call at SBC. He is a good and fair guy.
