Snorkel on newer machines

Hi,

Snorkels are a common addition for outback travel in Oz, partly for engine protection when wading (rarely a good idea, but occasionally a necessity), but mostly to get the air intake up above the self-generated dust when travelling on our infamous 'bulldust' roads.

I know our trucks now have the fancy active airbox. Perhaps that's why I see no discussion of snorkels in this 4th gen subforum. Has anyone got one? How do you avoid error codes? If you have one, would you recommend that supplier?

The snorkle I tested on an 06 ram produced a noticable restriction and loss of power.If the same unit were used on a 6.7 it would trip a cel

I like this design. And it doesn't make you try to reach up through the wheel well and into the fender to clean the leaves and twigs out of the intake.

I'll second AEV! I just happened to see a local dealer that was installing their full package on a new CTD! Far and above the best looking front bumper I have ever seen on a CTD.*

I don't know squat about their snorkel kit, but most of their stuff has me drooling.
