Does anyone make a lift that works with snow plowing Other then spring sapcers. they always say deisel or hemi never w/plow prep thanks

I have Lorenze IR coils and they are awsome for plowing. I have a Boss super duty with Boss wings its 9. 8' feet wide and around 1000lbs. I still like to put around 1000lbs in the bed for balance and traction.

I have the Lorenz 5100 kit with the 23% kit and it works awesome. I have the BOSS 8' superduty and it weighs in around 900#'s and it doesn't sag very much when it gets picked up.

I have 5" skyjacker coils on my 2nd gen. I dont think they even squated an 1" with my 6. 5' Meyer Aggressor E-68 plow. With my stock coils, it would squat a good 2" or more at least.

To be honest, having a lift and a plow frankly sucks. You cant see anything at all, behind or infront of you. The plow will be at the wrong angle, unless you have the mount adjusted to accomidate for the lift, then it just looks dumb, because your bracket hangs way low. Maybe a 2-3" lift would be better, but with 4+ inches, I think its a pain. Luckly I only use it to clear my driveway, and occasionally a brothers driveway. I would go nuts if I did it as a job with a lifted truck.

I have 3" coils and 35s, not much of a lift, but it is awsome to plow in. When we had 3' of snow last year I was still going strong. It was funny to see stock diesels and 1/2 tons watching in awe.

Meyers dealers love big snows because they get to fix all the broken Meyers plows. I bet plowing in a 5 speed is no fun and gets old fast.

Disclaimer! I was in AK when I did this!

I plowed commercially with my 6spd and it IS a very good left leg workout!

I had Skyjacker D25's (which sagged quickly) and a Blizzard 810. with the skyjackers giving 2. 5", 35" tires, and the blizzard mounting brackets all the way down I was still an inch over the max recommended subframe height that Blizzard recommends. I plowed with it like that and had no problems.

the truck had no problems pushing 12"+ snowfall in this configuration.

Lucky for me My ultra mount to uni mount adapter has all sorts of adjustments on it. Yeah the plow is 8 years old. I like the lorenz set up. im gonna look at that . I just want the truck to sit a little more level. im not buying tires till I need them thanks for all the help and insight

Dont get me wrong, it looks killer, and is kinda fun. I guess, if my blade didnt trip on ever bump, I wouldnt mind it so much, but that is not the blades fault. I am well over the recommended height for the mount, probably close too 4-5" too tall. This in turn has caused the blade to be severly tilted forward. I am trying to figure out how to combat this, have a couple ideas, but need some welding dont to acomplish it. You definately need blade markers when you are lifted though, with 5" and 35's I cant see the blade when its dropped all the way down at all.

I put the Skyjacker +2" coils on the front of my 2001 and with my 9' Fisher it barely squats. I'm pretty sure any of the 2" coils would work out well for you. Here is a pick of the plow and truck sorry it's not hooked up.

Now I should ask how do they lift springs affect the ride? Did you guys buy kits with shocks, sway bar drop brakets. or just do springs. thanks for the pics and help

Are you using the 2. 5" or 3" coils. Any there Lorenz products you are using with the coils?
