"Mr. Spaceace,

Thank-you for taking the time to visit our web site and also for submitting an information request. I am sorry that it has taken some time to respond but we have been very busy with the attention that the X-Mount has generated.

The picture that you have seen on the Lucerix web site with the amber reflector is for a bus application; not yet in production. It is designed to fit a Ford E series and GM G series shuttle bus and inner-city carrier. Actually the image shown on our web site is a Ford E body vehicle.

X-Mount for S. U. V and Pick-Up Truck owners can be seen at www.automirrorsource.com

We have considered things like the addition of a light and or reflector along with integrated convex and even the possibility of an automated extension arm.

All these items require extra tooling resulting in added cost to the end user. In order to stay competitive we are selling the X-Mount as seen in the Magazine advertisements and Auto Mirror Source web site.

I hope I have been able to shed some light on this for you. You may choose to add reflective tape to your X-Mount once you have received it. I believe this can be purchased from any local hardware store that carries 3M tape.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Regards,

Mark Nicholls

Tupperware sale!

I repaired the URL. My cut and paste was directly from the email.

Removing that extra period did the trick. Maybe mom's business on the side? A clever way to advertise!?
