my kit showed up today. looks good. wondering how much boost it takes to push the two boost lines apart tho?

there is a clear line coming from the controller and black vacuum line i am supposed to slide over their supplied barb fitting. then i am supposed to slide the other end of the black hose over the clear line and wha-la, thats it?

i called snow and talked to the tech guys there and they confirmed this...

never seen a hose clamp that small..... guess i could saftey wire it together or is there some other mickey mouse way to insure this thing might not blow apart when climbing the grape vine????

the truck only makes 45 lbs of boost but the clear line is hard and that is going to be inside the rubber vacuum line which will easily expand under boost

thanx, don

If you want small hose clamps I know you can get them at most any good dirtbike & AVT shop. My toys have all sorts of 1/4 hose clamps for the fuel lines, vents ect. You can get ones with a screw to adjust the tightness or you can get the spring type. Good luck with the stage 3 kit. I'm going to get one sometime before the end of the year.

the o. d. of the rubber vacuum hose is . 275

the brass barb fitting that the hose slides over is less than 1/2 long?

will see what is out there for clamps (1/4" should work great) and if i dont like the styles avail i will jsut use safty wire

one guy told me he picked up 3 mpg towing with the stg III kit

running straight water of course

thanks don
