Can anyone recommend a snow tire size to use under 20" that isn't going to be an issue????,for a 1500 4x4 quad eco????

I can't vouch for how they work, but I found out about the Toyo Open Country C/T yesterday, and they have the snow rating symbol, as well. They were sold in Canada before coming to the US.

I use two brands of snow tires only and they are Toyo Observe winter and Bridgestone Blizzak. They are awesome and you wouldn't be disappointed with either.

This is an excellent point. I assumed the OP was looking for a year-round tire, but that may not be so. True Winter tires are astoundingly better than "snow tires".

I use Goodyear Duratracs, although they are not a "snow tire" they do have quite a bit of siping and work phenomenal on snow and ice. I've driven a couple million miles and used numerous brands of tires, these tire impress me more than any other short of a studded snow tire which isn't overly practical for thousands of miles of highway use.

Have you had balance/shake issues? Not Duratracs specifically, but I have known so many people who had recurring problems with Goodyears that were "square" I have always shied away from them.

I have the same question. I want to use my 17" studded snows off my old truck, 2003, my 2014 has 18" wheels. Can I run the old ones without sensors and is bolt pattern the same?

I went with tire rack to a 18" package, will need the sensors or look at the light on the dash all winter.as long as the bolt pattern is the same you should be good...
