Washed my truck last weekend and when I opened the hood to check the oil both batteries were WET on top. I mean puddles of water.
Last night when I opened the hood to plug in my heater after driving home in a snow shower, both batteries had snow drifts on them.
This bothers me. Anyone have any suggestions for protecting the batteries from shorting out? I'm thinking of buying a couple cheap battery boxes from Summit and rigging them up to be water tight.
