Snow...Water/Methanol Question

Hey Guys... a buddy of mine has a first-gen, and is thinking about getting a snow set-up for some added power, are there any drawbacks to these?

I know you're supposed to shut it off and run for awhile before shutting down, to make sure it's all burned.

He doesn't have a computer, so I'm trying to get all the info I can for him.

I have read on here that a guy didnt install a flow valve on a truck, and parked on a slope, and filled his motor with water and hydrolocked it. other than that problem, I dont see why not you wouldnt want to put water/meth to it. just dont get too carried away with the meth, and I think you will be fine keeping it cool.

Well it wasn't me and I have run his system for 3 years now.

Jim, can you give me some opinions on the system? I've researched Electronic boxes and turbos to death, but am totally ignorant on the water/meth.
