The Dodge Cummins crowd had a weekend to be proud of in California.
At the LACR/DHRA round 4 drags, Tim Albiston from So. Cal, dominated the day with a win in the brackets, fast ET for the day (12. 01, it was 107 degrees!) and a win in the Fast four eliminations in his 2000 Dodge! Second in the fast four went to another Dodge (Brent). Congrats to both of those guys. They had some good races.
Up in Northern California at a pull in Sonora, the story was much the same. It was a 2 day event - long story short, on Friday night, Tom Colesanti from So Cal, won the street class and the Extreme class in his Dodge. In the finals on Saturday, he repeated his performance with a win in both classes. We have had our hands full with the Duramax's down here lately, so it felt sweet to have so much success.
Hopefully the wins will continue in Sept. at the 2nd annual High Desert Diesel Roundup @ LACR with the home court advantage.
Congrats to everyone.
