So Cal Rattlin' Rams- April Camping and BBQ Meeting

Oo. OK guys the next one will be a relaxing get together, camping in the desert area near Julian.

Details are as follows:

April 11-13

Stagecoach Trails RV Park

MAP

Website

Cost will be $25 per nite per rig. This is a discounted rate. The price is for full hookups, up to 4 people, no additional charge for pets or up to 4 people.

From that campground, Anza and off roading await those interested in cutting up some trail, and the town of Julian with hiking and trees await those of us who are 4X$4 challenged:rolleyes: .

We will also on Saturday afternoon/evening be inviting those of you who are not camping to come join us for a BBQ. The BBQ event will begin around 3:30pm. If you plan to only come up for Saturday, please be aware that you will be charged $5 per person upon entering the camprgrounds. We are going to be located in the group area, and management will direct you to that part of the park.

Family's, Spouses, kids and pets are all welcome and encouraged. This should be fun and the area should be beautiful with the spring flowers in full bloom. It might be pretty warm, which is why I choose full hookups for AC. They have a pool, and the group camping area has a large pit BBQ and campfire area and plenty of space for us all.

Back TTT.

I have REALLY low numbers for this guys :(, and I'm unsure to the ability to keep this at a group rate.

If you are planning to attend, I need to know ASAP, also, if you just plan on attending the Saturday meeting let me know too, at the last Dyno day we had alot of unecpected (although very Welcome) company. I'd prefer not to have as many surprises.

I can’t make the camping trip. I will be out of town.

How is your clutch working?

I will see you in Vegas.

Hey Fred, was good until today, I thought I was slipping in 5th and 6th, but now I'm not so sure. Might be something else going on:eek: .

Yep... . Vegas should be good, I plan on heading out with you and Jerry on Wednesday?? I'm still hoping (and beggin) to get Saturday night off work, its a REALLY busy weekend at work, otherwise I'll have to head out on Sat AM. :{ ...

OH Yeah... ... ..... Forgot to tell ya, I found a tailgate off a 2000 sport that's in real good shape and it's even Bright Red Clearcoat:D :D Hopefully it matches up well, my stepbrother is bringing it from Northern Cal on Easter.

Hey guys... I am in the Perris area. Unfortunately I don't get a lot of time lately to get on here and see what is going on. It's too late for me to make this event :{ and besides my kids are coming out to visit that weekend. I will watch for the next.

Kev,

I will not be able to camp because of a College thing for my son. But I may be able to come up the hill late Saturday afternoon. I will bring something to BBQ and drink. Hope to see you there.

Cary:cool:

Kev,

Can't make this one, wife's folks are coming in from Arkansas tomorrow night for a 3 week stay. Sounds like a good time. Catch you guys next time.

To my knowledge, the camping is now set at two rigs. We will have about 8 to 10 more coming up for the BBQ. Please be advised that if you are coming for the BBQ, the campground will require you to register at the gate and charge you $5 per person day use. Sorry, but it has to be, He (and I) were expecting a much larger overnite turnout.

Robert (campground owner) assures me that the campground is very easy to find and signs will lead the way. FYI, S2 is also known as Great Southern Overland Stage Route, which the campground is located directly off of.

Hope to see you thereOo.

Thanks for those of you who were able to come up and join us. We ended up with three overnight rigs on Saturday:cool: , and other than that darn wind, had a great time.

Fred, Jon and Doug, you'd be proud of me, I got to be in charge of the charcoal again:eek: :--) ... ... . you know what that meant :p .

How long does it take for arm hair to grown back??:-laf

Plus I got to make a much bigger fire in the firepit this time, it got pretty cool Saturday night:D .

Had a great time with Ramon and his wife and dogs, Vinny, Greg Wagner, Cary, Mark and even Bob got away from the 4x4'ing long enough to say hi... ... thanks again to everyone.

For those who missed out, it just seemed to be a combo of bad timing and maybe a distance issue, but we WILL do this again, if there is still interest and we can gather up a bigger showing.
