I am the Admin of a large Cummins /Ram forum over on social media
and we have a few people on ther claiming they put on a FASS fuel system and their fuel economy improved.

for the life of me can't understand how modifying the fuel supply pre injection system
would make any difference but I didn't feel like arguing with them.

It's been my experience that people will make a so called fuel mileage improvement mod, then drive with that in mind, report the huge savings, then go back to normal and not report it:)

I just want to ask them if they know that the fuel supply system doesn't determine the fuel injection rate, but I don't bother asking because I know the already know the answer and what is coming next .

they don't know but they will argue.

spending that kind of money it has to do something so you are actually making an investment that pays for itself over time

The only reason I want to a Fass pump is because my stock pump died, did not notice any difference in mileage.
