Ordered our 2003 todayOo. HO with 48RE with 4. 10 LSD for towing. Decided on Lt Almond although Green was preferred. Our big 5er is white with Gold/brown trim. Thought white would be too hard to clean?? Will clear bra with 14 mm film on the rocker panels, door edges and hood.

A very special thanks to all TDRer's who posted information throughout the TDR site. It helped me get a great price and to know the best options and towing capabilities.

Thanks again you are all sooooo  cool  and very knowledgeableOo.

Thanks Casey,

Now I know what those who had to wait have gone through... can hardly stand it. My old ticker beats fast as it is:eek: so I decided to have heart surgery to slow it down before it comes in. Then I will need to do something about wetting my pants when I drive it:D :D

That almond color is really nice! The chrome on the front really goes well with the color. I almost got it, but a female friend of mine told me the Graphite was more masculine. So... ... . Hope to have mine in 4 or 5 weeks.

have some ideas about how to make the wait better(this is what has helped me) buy as much add on stuff as you possibly can. i already have the lowest prices on tinting windows, linex. ordered new shift knob and mud flaps. looking for wood grain for dash area around radio in burl wood... . anyone. this ought to help with the wait .

Doc,

That almond will look great with your Alfa Gold and a whole lot easier to keep clean than the green:) . I was thinking of almond myself, but couldn't get it in the sport laramie dually.

Thanks!!

Thanks for the great support on the color! I picked it to match the Alfa and it will show less dirt, but I was kind of second guessing the color and had a nighmare about it too:eek:. Was too busy today to call the dealer and maybe see if I could change the color to white especially after reading "Not So Excited" and one thing could hold up a truck for 16 weeks --ouch.

I'm hoping it can be delivered before 1 March  to get the rebate or cross my fingers DC extends the rebate:confused: That is 7 weeks and 2 days from order date, but who is counting. :D

Catcracker -- Love your ideas:eek: I was thinking about guages, 4 inch exhaust, BHAF and an exhaust brake. I was favoring the Jake, but posts have swayed me. Now I'm looking at BD & Pac. I'm glad the Laramie comes with the wood grain dash:cool:.

Dean, I couldn't find a super giant size package of Depends;) I'm already making a few extra trips a day;) What's a fella or gal to do?? Most of you'all are giving the '03 rave reviews, I get more excited with every '03 thread I read:D

Thanks all, doc

Doc,

I towed with mine for the first time today and the truck was born to tow:--) . I love it, my trailer is pretty heavy and the 4. 10s are great (as is the six speed). I only towed it for about 75 miles, but it was a pretty good test as far as variety goes. I also tried the Prodigy brake for the first time and it is great as are the Timbrens.

Ordered 3500 QC HO 4x4 on 11/19; came in today; so, I'd say you're looking at about 7 weeks from start to finish! She's awful purdy! Too bad I can't have it 'till next week. Gotta have the wheel well liner's; mud flaps & Jake brake put on. Got a really nice 2000 2500 QC CD 4x4 LWB SLT Pac-brake I'd rather sell outright, rather than trade in; if anybody's interested?
