This guy is such a loser. He went to a try out with Seattle sending him packing.

After months of circling President Donald Trump during NFL depositions and discovery, Colin Kaepernick’s lawyers are expected to force Trump directly into the ongoing legal battle between the quarterback and league.

Kaepernick’s legal team is expected to seek federal subpoenas in the coming weeks to compel testimony from Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and other officials familiar with the president’s agenda on protesting NFL players, sources with knowledge of the quarterback’s collusion case against the NFL told Yahoo Sports.

The aim will be a dive into the administration’s political involvement with the NFL during Kaepernick’s free agency and the league’s handling of player protests, sources said. This after recent disclosures that multiple owners had direct talks with Trump about players kneeling during the national anthem. The content of those conversations between Trump and owners – as well as any forms of pressure directed at the league by the administration – are expected to shape the requests to force the testimony of Trump, Pence and other affiliated officials, sources said.

Pink Floyd's Roger Waters Wants Band to Kneel at Super Bowl

Legendary rocker Roger Waters is calling on Maroon 5 to take a knee during the half time performance at the Super Bowl.

According to Fox News:
As controversy continues to swirl around the Super Bowl LIII Halftime Show, Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters is calling upon Maroon 5, Travis Scott and Big Boi to take a knee during the big televised event in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick.

Maroon 5 has been the subject of immense backlash after agreeing to be the headlining act for this year’s Halftime Show. Many in the music community believed the band should turn down the event due to the treatment the NFL gave to the former 49ers quarterback, who knelt during the National Anthem in an effort to protest police violence and misconduct. Kaepernick was made a free agent and subsequently not picked up by any team. He’s currently embattled in a lawsuit with the NFL, alleging that the teams colluded to keep him off the field.

Waters took to Facebook earlier this week shortly after it was revealed that Maroon 5 would be skipping the traditional pre-show press conference at the big game on Sunday. The musician shared a video from his gig in Hartford, Connecticut on Sept. 24, 2017 where he and his band knelt in solidarity during their show.

“We did it in solidarity with San Francisco Quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s gesture of protest against the endemic racism and often deadly force meted out by police departments across this land. It was the third Sunday of Colin Kaepernick’s lock out by the NFL. The message was clear, ‘Shut your mouth, boy!’ Next Sunday will be the 36th Sunday he has been locked out of your national game,” Waters wrote in the video’s caption. “This is not a victory for the NFL, it is a defeat, you have denied football fans everywhere the pleasure and the honor of watching one of the greatest quarterbacks who ever played the game, and you have shown your true colors.”

Maroon 5's lead singer Adam Levine has said that he is focusing on the music and looking to drown out all of the noise.

Aw shucks. Now would be as good a time as any to burn my Pink Floyd 8 track and cassette tapes in protest.:(;):p:D

Well CRAP. Heard on the local news the Az. Cardinals are giving a try out for Kapernick this weekend. No idea why they want to shoot themselves in the foot. Maybe the 13 star flag should be flying.

NFL? What? Who?

Yeah, sorry. Not interested. Too many of my family and brothers have laid down their lives (or were willing) to let some A-hole who gets paid millions to desecrate what they fought for. I’ve personally served and know why it means to sacrifice for the colors. You have absolutely every right to complain and say whatever you want. You can protest anything, it’s your right. But if you piss on my flag, you’ve pissed on me an everyone who fought for you to have the freedoms you enjoy to piss on anything you desire.

If you “take a knee” during the National Anthem or the flying of the colors, I take that as spitting on the very nation (and people) who granted you everything you have.

So I say again, NFL who?

More like, who cares?

I think ALL the patriotic NFL fans ought to take a knee to TURN OFF their TV set and quit supporting the NFL if this kneeling happens. I quit watching West Wing when Martin Sheen AND quit listening to the Dixie Chicks.

I don't Forget, neither our great Veterans nor the folks/institutions who disrespect them!

Cheers, Ron
