Who ran the 11.5 second quarter at PIR on Saturday

A couple of friends and I went to PIR on Saturday Night. That was the first time I had ever been to Drag Races, What a Blast. I got called a Chicken by the lady taking my money when I went in because I told her I was watching and not racing. But oh well I still just watched, my truck would of been so slow it would of been embarrassing. I don't think there is much of a chance with a manual transmission.

So who's truck is the white dodge with Source Automotive painted on the side. I believe that shop is down in Milwaukie or something. That truck was extremely impressive. How long is the list of Mods? Any diesel truck that can run an 11. 5 in the quarter is pretty amazing.

How about the mid 90's white chevy. That definitely could not of been a 6. 5 under the hood, sounded like a cummins.

Well needless to say I had a great time watching all the trucks there, and will try to keep track of when the diesels are running and try to make it back out.

I thought that might be Lucas, another nice guy.

How often do the diesels run at PIR? Is there just as many on a normal Friday night, or only on the Diesel nights.

The NHRDA Web Site has the schedule for the diesel drag races. It's not unusual to see a group of diesels running the friday and saturday night drags at PIR. Rip, Robert, John, and Bill, from Source Automotive are often there, as well as others from the Portland area.

I missed the race on Saturday, I was racing at Medford, OR this weekend, but I understand that Rip made some passes well down in the 11's. That is awesome for a long bed, quad cab pickup! Oo.
