torque for stud install

Air filter vendors ... how about some airflow values

What are the benefits of Stanadyne?

I've used Essential Lube in a gasser, picked up 1-3 mpg. They have a diesel additive also.

Right. I know its a topic generating threads. Why do YOU use it.

What tangible benefits do you get from it?

Sorry about that... ... ... . I personally havent used it... ... ... I thought you were just looking for information about the product... . Should have read your question better. Good Luck

Based on my 100k+ miles using Stanadyne, I have found the following:

Mileage increased 823mpg per tank, still increasing

Noise reduced 103dB below and 99. 2dB above truck

Fuel pressure increased 16psi pre-filter, 18psi post-filter

Dyno testing confirmed an additional 721 rear wheel hp/1201lb-ft torque

All kidding aside, my experience with the performance formula has been very good overall. I do notice a noticeable (redundant, I know) decrease in injection noise, slightly smoother running engine and . 5-1. 0 mpg increase in mileage. I continue to use it, and will do so in my 04. 5.

Yep, I really am a Stanadyne believer, to really find out yourself, add half a bottle (pint) to a full tank with the engine running and listen to the difference.

I keep a complete record of my fuel consumption and mpg. I have been using "Stanadyne" since day one and tank one. Of course, I can not comment on improved mileage but I definitely noticed a reduction in fuel injector pump "noise" when added. The engine also "appears" to run smoother. The discussion that I read about which referred to the 12 valve injector pumps working at only 12,000 lbs. of pressure vs 24,000 on my 2003 convinced me to use the additive in the "hopes" that it will some how protect my expensive injector pump. I hope i'm right. My 2-cents.

I think there's a noise reduction, and peace of mind that I'm doing what I can to prolong the life of the VP-44.

Big A
