I have had the 02 dually for 2 weeks and it rolled over 128 miles yesterday. Most of that has been running between shops to xfer all the stuff from my 01 to the 02. Yesterday was the final deal with the swap of the PowerVision mirrors. I drove the 01 yesterday bone stock and was surprised at the power. Not bad at all for a stocker. So now the 01 is off to detail and then for sale. Anyone need a deal on an 01/2500 QC HO/6 spd. ?

Hey Barry, How do you like the Powervison mirrors??

Can you describe how much more you can see with them?? Tires, cars behind you, as you know I haul a 35' Avion, boat and a construction trailer all at the same time, just kidding :)

I have sometime refered to the PowerVisions as "Viagra Mirrors". (hope the moderator does not see this)They are the greatest thing since zippers on pants! For what I do, in and out of all kinds of trailers, they are wonderful. I can back under a 5er, hook up and be rolling away adjusting my mirrors before most folks can get out of their trucks. It is just another piece of equipment that makes my life easier. For someone that just tows once or twice a year, they may not be worth the $. For me, I would buy a set at twice what I paid for them.

They have very little vibration too. Very clear, big picture about what's going on behind you. Great for parking too. Now all I need (my wife loves that expression!) is a backup monitor before I damage something backing up!

Details

Barry, can you give details on the 01? My dad is interested in an 01, but he's kinda picky as to what he's looking for... color, gearing, bed length, etc... If your truck is inline with what he wants, he might be very interested.

Thanks,

Tom

Here goes. 2001/2500 QC LWB. White/Fawn interior. HO/6spd. 4:10 LSD. Travel Conv. Gp. , Frog lites, Pwr driver seat, tow and camper pkg. , Premium Sound, under seat storage, Factory floor mats front and rear, power and heated mirrors, full body and bed factory moldings, window tint(legal), tasteful pin stripe and small graphics, DC two piece mud guards(front and rear) Smoked Vent Shades on front doors, Stampede 3 piece bug sheilds. I am sure I have forgotten something. Invoice was something in the low $30s. I think I paid $28. 6 with the rabates. Truck has 94K on the odo and is correct. There is a 100K diesel wrap extended warranty still in effect. No smoke, kids or pets. Truck could easily pass for a 30K rig. It needs to go away... ... ... .....

Barry, that's almost perfect..... but my dad's looking for a 4x4... ...

I'll pass it along to him anyway. Thanks for posting the details.

Good point. I guess I'm just used to people specifically stating a truck is 4x4 if it is, and if nothihng is said, it is usually a 2wd.

But we all know what happens when we assume something... ...

Normally I'd say you're right, but when I saw 'Camping/Towing package' I naturally ASSUMED (yeah, I know) it was 4WD... ... .

Barry?

Two wheel drive. 2wd. 4x2. Power to the rear wheels only. Forgot, tires and wheels have 30K on them and are Michelins.
