So the new Fords have U-bolted shock mounts

I didn't even check the year. It was an '06 I believe, new, lifted F-250 crew shorty. I heard on here they have them, but never saw pics or proof, so I checked!



Weird. Does anyone see any drawbacks to this? I can see it as a nice way to get your truck set up for air ride if need be, and relocate the shocks easier than cutting them off.



I don't know, just thinking.....

ford superduty's have had u-bolted rear shock mounts since '99 i believe. . it works. . cheaper probably than welding the mounts
