It needs an afterburner. I'd pilot that thing without a second thought, provided I could have a little Nomex, and maybe a single hoop overhead for a rollbar.

I made one like that, a turbine engine, but never got around to 12 volting everything to put it on a go-kart frame! Would have been fun though!

I'll bet a regular shifter-cart would lay waste to that Ferrari as well. I think a 125cc will do 0-100 in about 5 seconds. .

I gave up on it. I burned up two turbine rotors on two separate HT3Bs and decided to save up for real turbine, haha. It was fun for sure but a lot of tinkering to get it running right. Running it was sweet, it ran cool and no flame but starting it was what moved the flame into the turbine and toasted it.
