Just got my new pop up camper. It only has a three gallon hot water tank so long showers are kinda out of the question. So what soap rinses off the easiest? And any other hints about making that much water last?
I like Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo. It is light, easy on the skin, rinses fast. Does okay for just daily sweat grime, not so hot for oily grease, etc...
I keep it in a pumper (thinned with water so the consistancy is the same all the time) for my shaving soap, helps soften the beard up and easy on the eyes.
We dry camp out on the national sea shore down on cape cod and we only have 50 gal of water for 3 or 4 days. I like 18 in 1 pepermint soap. rinses of real easy and is good for shampoo, body soap and shaving. EMS stores carry it in small bottles but its cheaper in health food stores by the qt.
The real trick is how soft or hard the water is. A sailor shower works just fine, but soft water is hell to get soap off. If you want there is those soaps that need no Rinseing. They use them when one is layed up and can't get out of bed. It is called Septi-Soft made by Convatec 1-800-422-8811 They can tell you where to get it. Or you can get it like I did ,but thats no fun Can you say my chest hurts?Good luck and happy camping beware campers GROW our 1st one was only 15ft long
