Looks like fun. I'm sore today due to the first 2-gun competition of the year that was held this past weekend. But it is worth it!!!

We are doing the 4 day defensive handgun course this will be the 4th time my wife and i have taken that class.

Hey Landshark - where is that? Looks like a nice place to visit.

Lake Walker, Sportsman's Beach, about 10 miles north of Hawthorne, NV.
A favorite stop for years. There are 4 campgrounds on the west side of the lake. Hawthorne has the largest ammo depot in the world, a couple of museums, RV Parks, casinos, Safeway and McDonalds. What else would you need?
The 150 mile sign is near the Alien Research Center on US 50 in Nevada.

I use to take some sort of petroleum product to a remote Military Site in Northern Nevada??? going through Hawthorn was the prescribed MANDATORY route to keep me away from populated areas & incase I had a truck problem the ammo depot was a Safe Haven to stop. Montgomery Pass was fun in Winters with the lack of snow removal equipment used to clear more utilized highways. One of the most wonderful sights I experienced trucking was when a herd of wild horses ran parallel to the road I was traveling AWSOME to see
