sold my truck, don't know what to do

hello gentlemen, sold my truck to fellow member granite const.



he flew into Newark airport, and then drove my baby home to



Iowa, I hope she likes it out there. Ok need some advice, my



truck was reg cab w250, with 5spd. I need more cab for the kids.



I'm to cheap to go for 3rd gen, so I'm looking at 2nds. Does it



matter what year, am I looking for certain year because better



than the rest, or are they the same. I have to have 4x4, manual

Bill, they are all good and just get the one you like and want but for Petesake just go get your new truck.

May I ask you how many miles were on it and how much you got out of it?



If I were you, I'd go with a 03. On the later model trucks you still may have to worry about KDP's and 5th gear nuts, as well as bombing. From what I hear, the new ones will run pretty good.

i sure wish that you would have not sold that truck... that was exactly what i was looking for... a perfect project truck... . i bet the new owner is really happy with it..... what would you say if he were to put in PODs and put on a factory box??mayb some 31 or 33" tires and alcoa tires??would you really miss it then???



as far as the 2nd gens... i have had no real problems with mine other then it is now gone... . i would look for a 98 and above tho... the 4 "real" doors would be real handy with kids... the pre-98 trucks didnt have that option.

I know I probably could of held out for a little more and or

going to regret selling it but life goes on. If my next truck doesn't

give me any problems I'll get over her, but 1 or 2 problems

and I'll be on way to Iowa. Even if I have to steal her in the middle of the night. anyway it's been almost 2 months since the auction ended so she has 219k and with the trip to Iowa now 220

I have a tuff dicision to make but will make the right one.
